Use and Administration

Community acquired pneumonia & nosocomial pneumonia in adults, when known or suspected to be caused by susceptible gm +ve bacteria. Complicated skin & soft tissue infections in adults, only when microbiological testing has established that the infection is known to be caused by susceptible gm +ve bacteria.

600 mg bd for 10-14 consecutive days. Max duration: 28 days.

May be taken with or without food.
